The Aircraft That Voß Flew.

Voß was known to have flown at least five typesof fighter aircraft while assigned to the five Jastas he served in. He also piloted and performed duties as an observer, in observation aircraft, while assigned to Kampfgeschwader 4. Voß was also an instructor at Flieger Ersatz Abteilung No.7 which means he also trained new pilots on older aircraft. Below are the four known personal aircraft of Voß and a representative of the C class aircraft that would have been used at the Kampfgeschwader 4. There is some dispute on the marking and paint schemes on all of Voß' planes, particularly his last airplane, the Fokker DrI.

The information below may not match exactly what other sources say. After reviewing numerous sources, I've noticed that many of the dimensions given vary within an inch or two. Part of this is undoubtedly due to conversion from metric to feet/inches. The difference could also be due to shrinkage and warping of the wood frames due to weather conditions or aging. Most sources will give you measurements within an inch or two of the ones listed below.
